I fully endorse Jim Shields to take my place as the next Mayor of Medina.  Jim is not only a lifelong resident of our city, but has served the community in so many ways.  He has served as a youth coach, been involved with service organizations, serves as the Police Activities League Board President, serves as a City Councilman, supports those in need in our community, and serves on the Medina County Mental Health Recovery Board (just to name a few of his contributions).  He is the kind of person you want leading our city, which is why I am honored to support him! 

Jim Shields is a man of integrity and loyalty, committed to doing what's right for Medina.  As mayor, Jim will continue to lead with honesty, vision, and heart.

Jim's decades-long commitment to Medina is evident in everything he does.  He will serve the residents of Medina well in the role of Mayor.

As County Prosecutor, I have had the opportunity to work directly with Jim for the past several years.  In every instance, Jim Shields has represented the citizens of the City of Medina zealously, honestly, and professionally.  He is a credit to his office and to the City of Medina, and I highly endorse him as the next Mayor of the City. 

Jim Shields has demonstrated his leadership, integrity, and spirit of collaboration and consensus-building in his decades of service to the Medina community. Whether he was acting in a personal or professional capacity, and whether paid or unpaid for his efforts, Jim has provided his time and talent to help make and keep Medina City a great place to live, work, pray, and play. He is just the one we need to serve as Medina's next mayor. I’ve had the privilege of working off and on with Jim since the 90’s.  We coached baseball against each other and worked on a few civic committees over the years.  For the past 16 years, I worked closely with Jim on Medina City Council.  He is a steady, reasoned, common-sense person who always sees the good in people and is always looking for the right solution to the problem at hand.

Jim has spent his entire professional career as a devoted and zealous champion for the city of Medina and its citizens.  His work in the private and public sectors and for Medina City Schools has continuously enhanced the quality of life for everyone who calls Medina home—both in the city and its surrounding areas.  For these reasons, I am proud to endorse my fellow elected official, Jim Shields, in his campaign to become the next Mayor of Medina.
